ive had a girlfriend for a month and a week now, and was wondering if anyone has had experience with the proper amount of time to wait until telling a girl you love her (cause I do). it's been bugging me for a while,

thanks for the responses. i really do feel a genuine love for this girl, and im 99% sure she feels the same way. and I DO REALLY want to say it to tell her how much she means to me, but i just don't want to scare her off with such a powerful statement.

As everybody else has said, tell her when it feels right and you know you mean it. In my case, I told my girlfriend after three weeks and now we've been together for almost three months, and we're still going strong.

There are different kinds of chemistry in a relationship and there are three kinds of I love you's.
1) you just wanna get it out there, say it and get it over and done with
2) a commitment kinda I love you.. where you know for sure, that this isnt infactuation but love...
3)A lusty I love you.. which u use, during.. sex or sumthin similar

saying "i love you" has noting to do with time its all in feeling my dear boy it can be years before the words are said or just a few days... its all in the heart... just ask yourself is this the person you are willing to do anything for give it all up for and love for the rest of your life... if all those are yes then you are in love... and thats when the words can come out... but remember those words can be dangerous...

Take a chance and say it when you're ready to. If you feel its ready, then she probably does also. My boyfriend told me I love you on our 2 month anniversary, and it felt right. Go for it :)
