I just got my new cavoodle 5 days ago. She's 2 months old. She's been the most beautiful girl - playful, friendly, cuddly, and she's been responding pretty well to training so far.

But suddenly today, she started growling. And when i cuddle her, she'll snap at my face. Am I doing something wrong? My mum thinks there may be something wrong because her stool was green/a little watery this morning and she hasn't gone since (that we know of). But because we're new at this, we could be overanalysing the situation.

Also, she was brilliantly toilet trained by the 2nd day we got her and only needed to be led to the grass, but now it's like she is testing us and going wherever she pleases (in the lounge, on the concrete, etc).

How is it from being such a beautiful friendly pup, she's become one that growls and doesn't listen?

I would call your vet. Has she been properly vaccinated? I've seen these symptoms before and it did not have a good outcome. If it is something serious, better to get her to the vet right away and start medication. Good luck! I think from past experience you may need it.

i won't say i'm a genious and answer this for you, but have had expierence with this behavior in one of my own dogs. he was a bullmastiff, so he was much larger, and he wasn't even twi years old yet, but around 120 pounds. one day i was getting ready for school, and i put food in his bowl like i did every morning, and i turned to get something out of the kitchen cabnet and for no reason at all, he pinned me against the counter and started biting me. my thumb was paralyzed for a almost a year after that from all the nerve damage. nevertheless... he bit my mom and then me again, and my dad had him put down. now he was a purebread and had papers, but somewhere along the line he was missbreaded. something went wrong mentally, and he just started attacking and acting very vicsous. so just be cautious, and maybe ask a pet trainer or your vet to see what may be going on.

the poop worries me some id keep an eye on that she may have eaten something while you weren't watching puppies will eat anything..in the mean time my puppy did it in stages it was like he didn't know he could bark as soon as he figured out how he'd bark at a door just cause he could and went thru the growling faze too especially when we were playing he'd sound like he was going to take you apart..and he would snap a little mine was just playing and soon grew out of that...as for pooping wherever yes she may be testing you mine would go out side act like the didn't have anything to do then come in sneak off in the back room and do it there that was a hassle i crate trained mine some say its cruel but my vet recommend it to me
