i dont understand her chineese, i speak no chineese, she speaks no english and she dont understand my english how can we make things work =)

Wow if u've survived a year for this long than u must be doing okay.
But I'd say either u try and learn her language or both of u go to Sign Language classes and learn sign language together.
If worse comes to worse get a translator or a Chinese pocket dictionary.

wow, good for you! I'm Chinese and my ex bf is american. We went out for a year. He doesnt speak any Chinese but that's only b/c i'm not bad at English myself. Most people say i dont even have any accent. i'm amazed how you guys can make it this far without communication.

WHY ARE YOU WITH HER TO BEGIN WITH. IF YOU WANT TO KEEP HER YOU CAN LEARN HER LANGUAGE. GO TO YOUR LIBRARY AND ASK THEM FOR SOME TAPES ON CHINESE LANGUAGE. MY FIANCE IS VIETNAMESE AND HE IS TEACHING MY SON AND HE TAUGHT ME A FEW THINGS. BUT THE REST IS ALL UP TO THE TAPES I GET FROM THE LIBRARY. IF YOUR LIBRARY DON'T HAVE THAT TRY WEBSITES ON SPEAKING AND LEARNING THE LANGUAGE. GOOD LUCK
