I understand why you do it at night...it saves you time in the morning, DUH! Well, are you using any products in your hair? That will help to maintain the flatness of it. Try tying it back in a loose ponytail. you may have a indentation in your hair in the morning, but if you have a flat iron, that will take the indents right out. That will be faster than trying to redo the entire thing. You could also wrap your hair with a silk scarf like my black girl friend does.

I don't know of any ways to straighten it overnight, but I would not waste your time doing it before bed since you will have to just start all over again in the morning.

why do you want to keep it straight while sleeping?? if you want to keep it straight during the day, straighten a chunk of hair, spray it with strong hold hairspray and then straighten the same chunk of hair again.

my tip: dont straighten it at night, do it in the morning. that way it doesnt get a chance to poof out.
another tip, something i learned from some black girls i went to school with, who would get their hair done about once a week at a hair salon but wear it all week: they slept at a desk or the kitchen table to keep from messing their hair up.
