Consumption of pork can cause several deseases.
eating pork can cause no less than seventy diffrent types of deseases.a person can have various helminthes like roundworm, hookworm, pinworm etc.one of the most dangerous is Taenia Solium, which is in lay man's terminology called tapeworm.it harbours in the intestine and is very long.its ova(eggs)enter the blood stream and can reach almost all the organs of the body. if it enters the brain it can cause memory loss.if it enters the eyes it can cause the sight loss and even blindness.if it enters the heart it can cause heart attack. if it can enter the liver it can cause liver damage.it can damage almost all the organs of the body.anohter dangerour helminthes is trichura tichurasis.a common misconception about port is that if its cooked well these ove die. in the research project undertaken in america it was found that out of twenty four people suffering from trichura tichurasis, twenty two had cooked the pork very well.this indicates that ova present in the pork do not die at the normal cooking temperature.
PORK HAS MORE FAT BUILDING MATERIAL:
the pork has more fat building matrerialand very little muscle building material.this fat can deposit in the vessels and can cause hypertension and heart attacks.this is nto surprising that over 50% of americans suffer from hypertension.
PIG IS ONE OF THE FILTHIEST ANIMALS ON EARTH:
the pig is one of the most filthiest animals on earth.it lives and thrives on muck, faeces and dirt.it is the best scavenger that i know God has produced. In the villages in countries like india they dont have moedern toilets and people excrete in open air.very often excreta is cleared by pigs.even if they are bred in very hygienic conditions pigs are kept together in sties. no matter you try to keep them clean they are filthy by nature.they eat and enjoy there own as well as there neighbour's excreta.
ITS THE MOST SHAMELESS ANIMAL:
The pig is the most shameless animal on the face of the earth. It is the only animal that invites its friends to have sex with its mate.studies tells us that what humans eat has a big effect on there nature. people in west and america consume pork alot.many times after parties and even in the televission programes now a days they have swapping of wives;i.e many say you sleep with my wife and i sleep with yours with no shame .no wounder if you eat pig you start behaving like pig.
i hope it gives the answer to your questions regarding pork.should you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact me. .

In the Old Testament in the Law of Moses it was forbidden to eat pork because it was pronounced "unclean". But under the New Covenant, the apostle Paul says that all things are "good" to eat as long as it is received with thanksgiving and consecrated with prayer. It would take a little longer to explain the whole thing. But yes, it is okay to eat pork for the believer.

Go work on a farm and see how nasty cows are. They sleep and stand where they crap. Chickens are really nasty. Pigs are supposed to be nasty but they are usually kept in farrowing lots and those are much cleaner areas than any cow section of a farm. Pigs are very picky about what they eat unless they are not given a choice and are almost if not smarter than alot of dogs. When you learn that a pig is not as nasty as religious fanatics make them out to be then you will learn grasshopper. Didn't christians eat each other on the alter??? I knew some Jewish guy that would not eat pork but had a part of a pig heart put into his body to save his life from whatever unclean meat he ate... cows.

Eating pork was prohibited by God, as well as other scavenger animals because they are unclean and are not good for your health.
Almost everyone who has basic education knows that pigs have trichina or Trichinela spiralis, commonly known as tapeworm.
It has never been made for human consumption but to help clean the earth of waste and decaying matters, the same as vultures and other animals in that class.
Jesus did not die to save or change the nature of the animals. They are just as unclean before His death as it is now.
The commandment not to eat unclean meat has never been changed.
Do you think the following warning is only a bluff by God, or only for the Jews whom He called "My chosen people?". They will be destroyed if they transgress His commandment but, other than this specially chosen people will be alright? Where is the fairness of God.
Isaiah 66:16 For by fire and by His sword The LORD will judge all flesh; And the slain of the LORD shall be many.
66:17 "Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves, [To go] to the gardens After an [idol] in the midst, Eating swine's flesh and the abomination and the mouse, Shall be consumed together," says the LORD.
Besides, if you continue to read the remainder of the chapter, this is not talking about the past, but it is going to be executed in the future:
Isaiah 66:22-24
66:22 "For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me," says the LORD, "So shall your descendants and your name remain.
66:23 And it shall come to pass [That] from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me," says the LORD.
66:24 "And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh."
It is a fact that people who do not eat pork, rat, and other scavenger animal, very seldom suffer from trichinosis?
God is the Great Physician, The Doctor above all doctors.
He knew what He was doing in prohibiting His people not to eat unclean meat, better than a car manufacturer know what fuel is best for the car they manufactured.

"But food does not commend us to God, for neither if we eat are we the better, not if we do not eat are we the worse. But beware, lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak."
The church at Corinth was asking Paul about whether they should eat the meat sacrificed in other religious or pagan rituals. It was cheap! Some people said they shouldn't because it was used in sacrifice to idol gods; others were saying it was cheap and good! Paul was telling them that their righteousness ad nothing to do with what they ate. However.. in the next verse he says that you should watch out for whether it makes your brother stumble. You are "neither the better nor the worse" for eating pork! It's what's for dinner :)
In the old testament (Leviticus specifically) there are a million rules about clean and unclean things to eat. Those were specifically for the children of Israel and do not apply after the coming of the Messiah.

If you're a Jew, no, because to us all the old laws are still in progress, since G-d said "no letter of the law shall be changed."
Chrstians believe you can eat pork because JC abolished the old covenant made with the Jews.

Since Christ arose from the dead and was taken into heaven the New Testament is our guidebook. We live under it's rule NOT the Old TEstament. Therefore, you may eat your pork as long as you cook it well enough as to not get sick! Have a great evening.

The biggest reason why they were not to eat pork was the fact that they could keep it cold and did not have the proper heating to killer the germs
they also did not have the sanitation as we have water and soap like we do today. Our pigs in the US and some of the other countries are checked BEFORE we get them so that we do not get the diseases like others did in the past.

In OT, it is deem unclean or un-kosher by the Jewish law.
In NT, we can sanctify it with the word of God or prayer. See 1 Tim or was it 2 Tim.
If you don't want to eat, some else will.
Shalom.
