Absolutely, I believe cats are highly psychic in the sense of seeing spirits.
They also are known throughout Egyptian history to be the great protectors as frightening away negative spirits. Back in those days to kill a cat was punishable by death.

"Conscious of nothing, DEAD! Therefore if the person is DEAD, then the cat can't see them because they are DEAD!

the cats do see spirits and ghosts. one of my kittens, and i have three cats, but only one of them acts really weird at certain places in the house. just the other day, she was just being very mellow relaxing and stuff, and then she went to the bathroom. for some reason she was so startled and ran away looking towards the bathroom like something was there. it's never happened before. and i know something was up because those a couple of days prior had been really weird, and some odd things were happening in the house. like the heater being turned on in the middle of the night by itself because me and my fiancee woke up at the same time wondering what the sound was. and also our candle holders were broken right in half, even though none of us ever hear them break. so yes they do.

I absolutely believe that the do. My co-worker has a cat that will hiss for no reason sometimes, and always in the same spot in the house.
