Is this new behavior?
Is she drinking the water?
Excessive thirst (that comes on suddenly) is a sign of illness, and in some cases, the cat is so desperate for water it moves the bowl.
Make sure she's just playing and there is nothing wrong, she's just being silly.
Fill up a sink or bathtub. You may have a rare cat that likes to swim.

My cat does the same thing. I clean it daily and he just likes to dip his paws in it. I have been blaming my husband for the water on the floor but he swears he doesn't move it. I watch the cat put his paw in the water and lick it off his paw. i just chalked it up to old age He is twenty years old since Halloween. It is just a playful thing that they do I am sure it is nothing wrong I even but the bottled water, so i know it isn't the dish being dirty or the water stale. he does drink a lot though. He plays a lot with the dish when he puts his paw in it. I don't know maybe he would like a different location. I will have to try it once and find out for myself. Good Question. I am curious to find out other answers myself.

I think she just likes playing with a bowl like a habit. I think you might need to come up with a way to break it like putting a brick under the water bowl so it does'nt move.

Nothing is wrong at all! He/She's just getting the most out of her water. Rather than drinking it she plays with it! lol. Have no worries, your cat probably likes water see what your cat does when you put him/her in the sink and turn on the water. My cat Oreo loves it!! Btw, how old is your cat?

My cat loves his water dish. When we take it away to put fresh water in, he stands up on his back paws and tries to hang onto the edges of it. He also dips his paws in first before he'll drink from it. Cats are just goofy. In a good way.

My cat does this ALL the time. I think it's just for fun. My cat likes to watch the water splash around. I wouldn't worry about it.

Put the bowl in the corner of your kitchen.
Or get a dog bowl so it will be super heavy.

she wants you to change the water, and cats always like to drag their food to a different place ,try putting the food 8 inches from the mat ,and see if it ends up where you want it

My kitten does this too! If I fill the bowl with too much water, she becomes fascinated and has to tip it over.

there is nothing wrong, she is just playing in the water. Try putting the water where she was playing and she what she does.
