What caused your grades to drop? It sounds like you may have gotten depressed or something of that nature. You need to find out what caused this and correct it. Your education is very important.

It sounds like that you've lost the focus of you life. Perhaps you've thought there's not much to live for, or you have had insight that a lot of things we do here are quite meaningless- working, making money, going out, relationships sometimes don't seem worth it when all we get is more stress and more work.
You need to be a bit introspective and know what's happening inside yourself. Are there things that used to excite you, hobbies or talents that you were proud of that somehow don't seem that way anymore? What caused the change? Was there a timeframe where this happened? What could be the causes? What may lead to some negative feelings that you may have? Perhaps peer pressure? Family? Worried about how others look at you? You need to understand what is causing these things then think it through carefully about how you choose to respond. It is in fear? In defeat? Or is there still hope?
I had similar times and questions when I was growing up where life and things seemed meaningless. I don't wish to push my experiences onto you but I'm not embarassed to say that I found Jesus in that time and he's helped me move on and realise that my life only has purpose when God is in control. Regardless I will pray for you and your circumstances.
Be encouraged.

Boredom often occurs when your mind is insufficiently challenged, or, to put it another way, your brain cells are multiplying and maturing at a more rapid rate than the intake of stimuli.
Boredom in teens is common and very dangerous, so you need to do something about it. Talk to a counselor at school, and by all means, tell your parents. Then find an area of interest, and begin focusing on that interest ( but not to the exclusion of other studies) Become an "expert" in that field; maybe violin, maybe automobile engines,.whatever. Learn about careers in that field. Pursue a dream.
Stay active in extra-curricular and volunteer activities; you may have a talent that someone needs. Use it!
Best wishes

im in bout the same situation (getting A;s, B's and a C now and then ) 1/2 of it is that one of my teachers happens to be a total *****. Ive tried to see eye to eye with her, ive tried to understandwhy she's like that. she really, truly is just a *****. the other 1/2 is that school doesn't completely rule my life anymore. I used to be a total nerd, but now ive been more interested in the new american dream: Sex, drugs, and rock and roll (sans drugs, except for booze and i do acid once in a while).
Just try ur damndest at school, and if that's the best u can do, that's the best u can do. the world still needs manual labor. ( not dissing manual laborers. u make the rockin world go round)

find something that you enjoy doing, like music thats what i did. I lost interest in school because it became to repetitive and didn't allow me to be creative. so i bought a guitar and now thats what i do. Play sports too, even if not on a team, just like go to the Ymca or like the gym and get in a pick up game of basketball or something, it will be fun.
