Okay, I'm an 18 year old guy, and I was dating a 15 year old girl (yeah , I was skeptical about it, but she was a nice girl). She had a little crush on me for awhile, and she had her friend ask me out. She thought I was extremely funny, nice and cute...

So, the thing is, we dated for about two weeks and randomly one day she says "things seem weird between us, I think we should just be friends."

She's a shy girl, and myself, I'm sort of borderline shy, if I have something to say, I'll say it.

Anyways, on to my point, I always tried talking to her about what was going on in her head, and she would never really communicate with me, I'd tell her how I felt about things, and she'd just say "well I hope I don't end up hurting you."

We got along just fine, and I'm not sure if it's the maturity/age difference or what, or if she just didn't know what to do.

I guess my question here is, what would cause a girl that is shy to just break up with someone without even wanting to talk about it?

When she a crush on you it was with this ideal illusion she has in her head whatever it may be. Now she feels weird about it whether it's age difference, taste or something else. She's a kid who can't make up her mind about what to eat for lunch, what would you expect?

Well shes obviously very immature being 15 and she probably doesnt really know what to do or think herself. I think she likes the idea of a boyfriend and not actually have one. Ask her friend and investigate a bit...she's not going to tell you until ages later.

well she doesn't want to talk about it because she is shy. i'm not really sure why she would break up with you though. it could be many possibilities: found someone closer to her age, found someone she likes better, not ready for a relationship yet, parents don't approve, etc. tough break man and good luck!

AT different times in my life I have found myself dealing with people who wanted a reason for everything. Truth is ....not everything I have done in my life deserves an explanation. For whatever reason I decided something (anything) it was all my decision.
Can you be happy with the thought she just didn't want you????

Are you going to college soon? Maybe she is worried about that; if you are already in college, maybe she just can't handle the pressure of a relationship right now, or maybe she is interested in someone else. Try talking to one of her friends.

Good luck with the relationship! ;-)

she was young that what the problem was, that the reason
that young men that of age like you should not date younger
girls. because they are still quite young now you know now
she had a crush on you and that was it, time to date someone
your own age.
