i have long hair so sometimes i put the tail high and sometimes low. But i just flip my hair down part it into two parts and put the hair in two different ponytails resulting in high pigtails. For low ones i leave my hair down then split into two parts put one tail on each side and then i put them each in a ponytail. When i do low pigtails i look like pocahonus.

I put them low, like below my ear. That's what's in style now. I also tease the pigtails, for added volume. seventeen.com has ideas for really in-style cute pigtails. Everytime I wear them, I always get compliments.

I wear my pigtails up higher, and pull it back under and through the rubberband to fill it out, so it almost looks like a bun.Kinda like Kirsten Dunst did in BRING IT ON, when she went to see he boyfriend at his dorm... but higher, and I have long hair so it flows over and looks really cool,
