Any good FREE video conversion software out there. NO TRIALS!!?

I am after a video conversion program that works, that I do not need to pay for....EVER. Is this possible?

I assume you mean computer files ... like AVI to MPeG or FLI to MOV ... etc. Correct? If so here is a great free utility that I just found ... it's got quite a few powerful features that I'm just learning to use, it works great, and it's 100% free.
