If the democrats force the troops to suffer for political reasons at home, I doubt they will ever recover from the back lash - despite what might be said at times, even the voters aren't that stupid.

The Demos aren't running the country. The Reps are. That's why this country is falling fast. Demos tried to assist our soldiers, but the Reps didn't want their assistance at all. See everything that goes on in this country since Bush has been in office, no one else can do anything to help but pray for Bush to leave office. We need someone in office with a heart, and someone that really cares. Not just by word of mouth like Bush, but someone that really cares!!

Sorry, it has been Bush and company that have been trying to run the war on the cheap. Both the parties in both the House and the Senate have given the troops everything they have been asked to give. Bush/Cheney/Rumsfield has been the hypocrites all along.

No. Congress has the power of the purse strings and has used them for over 200 years. Besides, the Dems are talking about not authorizing funds for this surge; funds for troops already there are not the issue.

If they don't support the troops, it is one of a long laundry list of things they are going to do to make sure they lose the next election. They listen to polls and the Liberal media thinking it is what mainstream America is thinking. HA!!

the fewer troops that are in Iraq, the more of our guys will die. addign the extra troops is a great idea and should have been done a logn time ago. really, they never should have been taken out in the first place until everythign was completely taken car eof
