I recently asked a girl I like out on a date, but she said no for personal reasons. She told me that we haven't really known each other that long and that she wants to wait before dating again. So, how long should I wait till I ask again? Is it pointless to continue with this girl?

How low can you count? Zero will do nicely. She does not seem too interested and if she changes her mind then tough s---, she missed her chance. On to the next fish in the teeming sea. What's the world population these days? 6 bil or 7?

If she said no just move on and just be friends. Don't ruin a potential lasting relationship. Maybe in the future it may develop into something, or it may not. Give her some time and space. Trust me it will work out in the end.

I would try one more time. Ask her you if can call her because you thinks she is a interesing person that you would like to know better. If she still says no, leaving her alone. There are more fish in the sea.
