Look honey. Too bad for the transportation. Call a ****** ambulance and grow the **** up. She needs to go to the ER. What kind of mom sits on her *** and doesnt find a way. There is always a way when it comes to your children. Call and ambulance and go. She could die if you dont. DIE..seizures..brain damage..go to the ER. It sounds like your only option here.

a temp of 103 is not uncommon at all in a child that age. What are her other symptoms? That would tell us a lot.
If she's got a severe cough, and the fever has lasted for more than 2 or 3 days at that high of a temp, then I would definitely find a way to get her seen. There are buses, neighbors. How do you go to the grocery store? IN any case, if she isn't vomiting, or has diarrhea, and only has the temp, I wouldn't be extremely worried.
Seizures can happen, but they do not mean that she's having a brain meltdown. Seizures are scary to witness though. However, it is a way the body copes, even though it seems awful.
The medicine is the key here- if her temp comes down with medicine- then she'll be much happier. Unless she's acting extremely ill, don't focus so much on the actual temp unless it was over 104. Dr's see this a lot and it's not something they get alarmed about. If she were very young, then yes, they would be concerned.
Now, for the medicine. Do you have kool aid, juice, anything at all you could mix it with- but not water- something that wil entice her. Don't put much of the drink in the cup or bottle- you want her to get as much medicine from it as possible, without her needing to drink an 8 oz bottle to get it all.
If she is sleeping, and doesn't seem to have trouble breathing, and doesn't have sever vomiting or diarrhea, then let her rest. Just keep an eye on her. Babies get sick, it's just how it goes. I've been around a lot of sick ones. A fever isn't the main sign of a problem, it's just one. Fever's happen for a lot of reasons, and is a natural thing.

Well, you already know that you should be bringing your daughter to the ER. You also know that an ambulance can take you there. I am not sure if you've already considered asking a neighbor, relative, or friend for a ride to the ER. I'm sure they wouldn't turn you down...
There's always an ambulance or a taxi.
With the meds, she will not take them with water - she can taste them. Mix them with something like juice (or another liquid she likes) that will mask their flavor.
To help get the fever down, put something cold (frozen wet washcloths, a bag of peas, a ziploc bag of ice, all wrapped in paper towels) at the base of her skull (the back of her neck.)
This will result in more rapid cooling. Do not leave it on for more than 10 minutes at a time - 10 on, 10 off. Also, change the location around so that you don't cause skin damage. You can also put it directly on her sternum, but not for very long.
Please remember that 104 is the high temperature threshold at which brain damage can begin. If her fever gets any higher than 103, throw in the towel and find a way to the ER. High fevers are extremely serious.

103 does not require a trip to the ER. See if you can get someone to go to the store for you to bring you some infants tylenol with a dropper. That will bring the fever down. In the meantime place cool (not cold) wet washcloth. Keep an eye on her temp. 104 to 105 is a reason to be concerned. You really need to make sure you get that little one some infants Tylenol and give her lots of love.

I'm sorry to say but it the truth what everybody is answering back call an ambulance, a taxi, anybody, or start the walking girl. That is a very serious concern I know you have to go to the doctor when the baby has 103 or more. Have you tried Tylenol or Motrin those are the best for fever at the age about a 1/4 teaspoon of it. Put it in milk the doctor told me water shouldn't be given to babies because it takes away the vitamins from the milk. Please try to go to the doctor ASAP.

Seriously you need to call an ambulance and get that baby to the ER. At least that way they can give her the meds that she needs to bring the temp down and run some tests to find out what is causing it. A temp of 103 or over in a child that young can cause some serious damage to the brain. Call 911 or whatever your local emergency number is and get her to the ER.

do you have a syringe? are you using medicine for her age?....you may have to hold her and squeeze it towards her inner cheek so she cant spit it back out. A temp that high can cause febrile seizures in a child that age. A cool rag on head may help but really at this point you may need to call a cab or even 911 to get her to the ER if it doesnt let up soon. Make sure she is hydrated by giving lots of water and juice....even non caffeine soda will help. You could try mixing the tylenol with soda or juice to hide the taste. Dont let her get too chilled though that can be rough on her too.

..you need to take the child to the ER. Call an ambulance, get a taxi, call a friend. If the temp will not come down with all the usual methods then there is something wrong. If your child is truely as sick as you say then you will find a way to get to the ER Get off the computer and get to the hosp. Take public transport if you have to. CALL AN AMBULANCE!!!

Uhh, you call an ambulance. You know what those things are? You call 911 and they send it to your house and give you transportation to the ER. Oh my gah lady. Why do you even have a kid? I'm not trying to be rude, but I have never in my life seen a mother not take her child to the hospital if there was a temperature that high. How hard is it to pick up the phone and call for an ambulance?

OK sweety calm dawn and take a deep breath i have 5 kids and my 11 year old daughter is doing through the same thing as well as my 6 year old niece . anyways best thing to do for now is give her Tylenol and put her in a luke warm bath NOT hot and NOT cold this thing is going around
with not having a dropper have someone take you to the pharmacy and they will give you one no cost to you good luck and just try to keep her as comfortable as possible
we took my doughtier to the doc and he said to bring her back in if the temp gets any higher and if it continues for a couple of days but if i does get any higher do call 911 and get her in to the er but don't panic if she sees you all stressed out and upset she will get upset as well and hard crying will make her fever climb
