contemporary theatre is related to drama. but its not just about acting, you have contemporary style dance also known as freestyle dance. you have acrobatic stuff. even you can call it dance drama.. and mainly contemporary shows are done on a cause or theme based shows. they take particular theme which they show people about a cause or give information through this kind of contemporary shows. hope you have got some basic idea about contemporary theatre.
