In the new james bond movie, he is poisoned and then drinks a cup of salt water.. what wouuld drinking a whole cup of salt water do for him? just curious..

Salt water is healing, like when you gargle with salt water for a sore throat or pulled teeth, right?

The throwing up thing makes sense, too, 'cause then he would throw up the poison. I don't know for sure, though.

Drinking or consuming a whole cup of salt would make the person throw-up. and I mean right now.

salt is bad for you...its not posioness but it can be when its built up in your body salt makesyou crave water too much sodium is
bad for the blood liver kidney and the liquoids in the body
i know this cuz i am interested in the human body...:]

well, I'm not sure it would be good. but i do know that the Chinese used to kill themselves by eating a pound of salt.
