Under hypnosis people have recalled past lives. Even as much as these experiences are probably unlikely, it means there is actually more proof of reincarnation than there is proof of any god.
It's a funny thing about what foreverquilting2003 said because I can recall the same things. I recall dieing in France on a battlefield which I believe was Waterloo, I was killed in the bombing of the east end of London during the Second World War and I believe I died in the 1950s of polio.

There are many problems with the salvation-by works doctrine of reincarnation. First, there are many practical problems. For example:
1. We must ask, why does one get punished for something he or she cannot remember having done in a previous life?
2. If the purpose of karma is to rid humanity of its selfish desires, then why hasn't there been a noticeable improvement in human nature after all the millennia of reincarnations?
3. If reincarnation and the law of karma are so beneficial on a practical level, then how do advocates of this doctrine explain the immense and ever-worsening social and economic problems - including widespread poverty, starvation, disease, and horrible suffering - in India, where reincarnation has been systematically taught through out its history?
There are also many biblical problems with believing in reincarnation. For example, in 2 Corinthians 5:8 the apostle Paul states, "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." At death, the, the Christian immediately goes into the presence of the Lord, not into another body. In keeping with this. Luke 16:19-31 tells us that unbelievers at death go to a place of suffering, not into another body.
Further, Hebrews 9:27 assures us that "man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." Each human being LIVES ONCE as a mortal on earth, DIES ONCE, and then FACES JUDGMENT. He does not have a second chance by reincarnating into another body.

Yes, I believe in reincarnation and it is even mentioned in the Bible: Matthew 11:14, Matthew 17:12,13, John, 1:21,1 Cor. 15:51, et cetera.
Some people are born with greater abilities and perception than others. Yes, some of it is genetics, but there are exceptionally bright children born to not so bright parents and vice versa.
Perhaps those with exceptional abilities who seem to possess a better understanding of life are "old souls" who have lived many lives.

It makes sense on many levels. And Jesus appears to endorse it when He identifies John the Baptist as Elijah. Early Christians DID believe it. I'd like to think God gives us as many chances as possible to make a definite decision regarding His Son.

Yes. I know I shouldn't catholics are not supposed to, but I'm fascinated by stories of people who can remember things that happened to them in another life... I'd like to do this experience and see if I ever was someone else too...

It is what it is weather you believe or not.
Father/creator- created souls in his likeness, not humans.
many souls came to this place, liked it and decided to play the games here. Once the game has begun the soul must keep returning until learning all lessons of the game and has the desire to return to father. reincarnation.

No. It's like Santa Claus, the tooth fairy and horoscopes. It's not real and we only go around once.
