My best direction for the bedroom is putting the bed against a wall that communicates directly to a bathroom. My head will be pointing to the toilet when I sleep, the other direction will have my headboard below two big windows and the last option will be to place my bed in not so auspicious direction above the stove in the kitchen. Which position should I choose? and is there something to neutrilize or aliviate the effect of the toilet if i place the bed on the wall which is my best direction?

Hi,
The bedroom is such an important room in Feng Shui, so it is good that you are trying to set it up well. When I consult on directions, I take into account the layout of the room also. Sometimes I have had clients whose positive directions won't work with the layout of the room. The bed needs to be located well so that your head is not on the same wall as the main door into the room and located so that you can see who is entering the room.

I will usually advise, especially if there aren't a lot of options, to set up the bed first so that you can see who is entering the room when in bed, then see if this fits with your positive direction. To look right and feel comfortable physically is usually the first option to evaluate.

If that means that the bed is better against the wall of the big windows, then you can cover the windows when sleeping to create a 'wall' effect' This will also darken the room when sleeping which is also a positive thing.

If you can still see the main door if the bed is against the toilet door, then ensure the toilet door is closed when sleeping as this is termed as a 'waste' area where we cleanse etc.

The more detailed charts that I do on properties take into account a lot of other energies that we can work with and ensure there is flow and harmony aside from our positive directions. It is still good to use your positive directions where possible however it is not always practical and if we only went by the direction and made a room look odd with the layout, it will still add to a negative feng shui effect overall.

Hope this helps, best wishes,
kind regards
Priscilla

first, the toilet is a sha chi, it is better to have a buffer room in between your bedroom and the bathroom. because a toilet can cause sickness in a bedroom.

next the 2 big windows, this can make you not strong in yur decisions and tend to have backstabbers in your work life.

last, you know it that a kitchen is also a bad thing.

as i said before, a bigger house has more chi to accumulate, a smaller house has less. if you're trying to apply fengshui to a small house, you just will feel that yu have not changed anything in your life, that no significant changes occur! this is because although some good has been happening, first the chi is small to go around with, next there are still bad fengshui in your house. thus, it is really no use applying fengshui in a small house.

Your bed below two windows ?? Or between? If you insist on the Feng Shui result then close the bathroom door all the time and go with that idea..........good luck

Sorry, but the only rule that I know is that the end of the bead (the side with your feet) is not supposed to directly face any doors or windows; I suppose it could be quite handy in some ways though...

It's fine to have your head pointing to a toilet but do not let your feet point towards a door.
