A beach with beautiful blue green water. Gorgeous cabana boys to do my bidding like bringing me endless margaritas, massaging my feet, oiling my body...and all the fajitas and chocolate that one could eat!!! A big hammock between 2 palm trees...soft sea breezes blowing thru my hair...oh and did I mention the gorgeous cabana boys???
As for why are we here? I honestly don't have a clue. Being cynical I guess I could say we are here to destroy this beautiful blue planet. Because that is what's happening. Sad, but true.

people never seem to contemplate one glaring possibility: That we do not necessarily have a REASON FOR being here at all. Maybe we are simply an accident. Think of all the literally TRILLIONS of hours that people have spent contemplating our existence and purpose. The best reason that people as a collective group could come up with through these trillions of hours of thought, was "a magical sky fairy was bored and needed something to occupy his time". THAT IS IT! Since this is the best we can come up with, it leads me to contemplate the possibility that we have NO purpose at all. But people are often to arrogant in their examination of our existence to consider the possibility that we are simply here by accident. They feel that humanity is too important to simply not have a purpose at all, which is a pretty large assumption that everyone makes without ever considering it to be an assumption at all.

So, what question do you really want answered?
If there was such thing as an after life of sorts (existing independently of any gods or religions concepts IMO), the best for me would just be to have my guy back. That's all I want.

Afterlife, if you want to call it that. I perfer eternity and I prefer to spend it with Jesus. That is, after all, why I live now. To live for eternity after I die or when Jesus comes back, whichever comes first. I do hope I am still alive when He comes back because I would love to see Him split the eastern sky wide open.
