Try to get back together with him. What other people think is not as important as your feelings. You're not much older than him anyway. He'd probably understand if you talked to him. You can work it out. :)

oh wow, don't feel bad about it ONE bit. It may seem stressful that he may seem farther apart from you, but don't worry about the whole school grade thing, ok!?

Look, I'm dating an 8th grader, and I'm a senior. She's 14 and I'm 17. 4 year school difference, but only 3 years apart in age! She and I are so happy together and I'm intending on staying with her. Of course i get crap here and there, but soon enough it will all be forgotten and I'll be happy with her forever. I love her dearly, and I wouldn't know if I could live on without her.

Ask him back out, and ignore what others say, if it's girls giving you crap, they want a chance at him. If it's guys, they want a shot at you. Don't let what others think get to you. It's what YOUR eart wants, not theirs!

Get him back. Assuming he'll still take you after you broke up for such a stupid reason, that is.

I was in the same situation... one year younger, two grade levels... I was so in love with him, but my family couldn't accept that.

So... we unofficially dated for a while, but kept it quiet... every year since then we've ended up coming back to each other, still very much in love...

And yet I didn't want to take the annoying harassment from my family... my friends didn't care, but my parents would not let me see him (although somehow I always managed)... so last summer when we both left for seperate colleges, we decided not to commit to each other...

He has a girlfriend now. I may have lost him forever.

Moral of the story... if you care this much about him, DO NOT LOSE HIM. It's not worth it to make the people who won't accept it happy if you aren't.

hey jsut b/c someone is grade levels below you donest mean anything. If you liek this guy alot... then why leave him over what people think? Thats not good fom him and not good for you if you really like him. Next time put u in his shoes. Try to talk to him and see what goes from there. GOOD LUCK!!

Go for it!!! age means nothing in school. Your friends were probably just jealous because you were happy or because you were spending less time with them. You live for yourself not for others... Be happy!!

Ask him out and apologize that you didn't think first when you broke up. It really doesn't matter what your friends say

forget about what your friends say
just explain it to htem
if they are your real friends they would stop
and even if they do
im sure they are kidding
my friends would always do that to me but i guess they got sick of doing it because they knew i really liked him
so you should get him back
