DEATH AND THE GRAVE

1. It is a well-known reality that everyone has to taste death. Allah Ta'ala says in the Holy Quran: "Every soul shall have the taste of death". (3:185)
2. The time of death is fixed for everyone. Every single person's age is fixed. It cannot increase from its fixed time nor can it decrease. Nothing can save one from death. Wherever you are, death will find you out, even if you are in towers built up high. When the time of death comes, nothing can delay it.
3. When a person’s life is ending, Hazrat Izraeel (alaihis salaam) comes to extract the dying person's soul.
4. The person dying looks to his left and right and sees Angels everywhere. The Angels of Mercy come to a Muslim and for the Kaafirs, the Angels of Punishment appear. At this time, even the Kaafirs believe the truth about Islam, but their faith at this time is not counted. This is because faith is the name of believing the Message of Allah Ta'ala and his beloved Messenger (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) without seeing proof. At this time one sees the Angels and then believes and this is therefore, not accepted as a Muslim.
5. A Muslim's soul is taken out with ease and is then taken with respect by the Angels of Mercy.
6. A Kaafir's soul is taken out with great pain and the Angels of Punishment take it with disgrace.
7. After death, the soul does not go into another body and is then reborn, but it stays in the world of "Barzakh" till the Day of Judgement. "Barzakh" means the interval between death and resurrection.
8. To believe in reincarnation - that the soul goes into another human body, or into an animal's body, or into trees or plants, etc. is wrong and is Kufr.

WHERE DOES THE SOUL REMAIN AFTER DEATH?

1. Death is when the soul comes out of the body.
2. According to the faith and deeds performed by that person, a different place is fixed for the soul to remain. It stays in that place until the Day of Resurrection. Some stay underneath the "Arsh" (above the skies), some remain at "Aala Illiyyeen" (the highest point), some remain at the well of Zam Zam, and some remain in their grave.
3. The souls of infidels are imprisoned. Some are imprisoned in the well of "Barhoot", some in "Sajeen" (the lowest point in Earth), and some at their place of cremation or burial.

DOES THE SOUL DIE?

1. In any situation, the soul does not die nor does it disintegrate but it remains unchanged. Whatever it's position and whatever it's state is, it always remains connected to the body.
2. Those who believe that the soul can die and disintegrate are a "Bud Mazhab" (from a deviated sect).
3. If the body experiences pain, the soul also feels the pain. If the body is relaxed, then the soul is also relaxed.
4. When someone visits the grave, the soul sees the person, recognises him or her and listens to what they are saying.
5. In relation to the Muslim's soul, it is stated in the Hadith Shareef that when a Muslim dies, the soul’s path is opened and it can go wherever it pleases.
6. The dead also speaks. Animals, etc. except for normal humans and Jinn hear its voice.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER BURIAL?

1. After burial, the grave tightens up and presses the dead.
2. It presses the Muslim like a mother holds a child. It presses the Kaafir (infidel) to the extent of crushing them, like the left side bones end up on the right side.
3. When the people leave after burial, the dead hears the footsteps.
4. At that time, two Angels called Munkar and Nakeer come ripping through the earth. Their faces look very fearful and scary. Their bodies are black in colour. They have green and black eyes, which are very large in size popping out, like the Jinn's eyes and they are made of fire. Their hair is very scary and long from head to toe. Their teeth are very long with which they rip through the earth. They wake up the dead shaking and rattling them.
5. With great strength with a deep voice, they ask these three questions:

a. "MAN RABBUKA" meaning "Who is your Lord?"

b. "MAA DEENUKA" meaning "What is your religion?"

c. "MAA KUNTA TAQUL FEE HAJAR RAJL" meaning "What did you use to say about this person?"

If the dead person is a Muslim, he will reply as follows:

a. "RABBALLAH" – "My Lord is Allah."

b. "DEENIL ISLAM" – "My Religion is Islam."

c. "HUWA RASOOLULLAHE SALLALHO ALAIHI WASSALLAM" – "This is Allah's Messenger, He has been embraced with Allah Ta'ala's Mercy, greetings to him."

6. Now, a Voice from the skies will be heard saying: "My servant has said the truth. Lay the tablecloth of Paradise for him. Give him clothes from Paradise to wear and open the doors of Paradise (Jannat) for him." The cool air and the sweet fragrance of Jannat will continue to come and wherever the eyesight can reach, the grave will be made wide and large. Angels will say: "Sleep like a groom sleeps". All this will be for the good pious Muslims.

7. For the sinful, there will be punishment according to their sins.

8. This punishment will continue for a time. Then from the prayers of the pious or from "Esaale Sawaab" (good acts performed by people for the dead's forgiveness) or from prayers for their forgiveness or simply from the Mercy of Allah Ta'ala, this punishment will stop. Then, there will be relaxation.

9. If the dead is a Kaafir, then he will not be able to answer the questions and will say "HAA HAA LADRI" meaning "Shame for I know nothing'". Now a caller will shout: "He is a liar, lay the table-cloth of fire for him, and give him clothes of fire to wear and open the doors of Hell (Dozakh) for him, from which the heat of Hell will reach him." There will be two Angels allocated to him to give him punishment and will hit him with great big hammers. Big scorpions and snakes will also bite him. All different kinds of punishment will continue until the Day of Resurrection.

WHO WILL NOT BE ASKED QUESTIONS IN THE GRAVE?

1. The Prophets will not be asked questions in their graves nor will their graves tighten.
2. Many followers will also not be asked the questions, like those Muslims who die on a Friday or in the month of Ramadaan.
3. The situation of relaxation and punishment in the grave is a fact. This punishment or reward is for both the body and the soul.
4. Whether the body disintegrates or burns or mixes in the soil, it's original parts remains until the Day of Resurrection. It will receive reward or punishment. On the Day of Judgement it will be reformed back to a body. These original parts are actually situated in the spine and cannot be seen by humans. It also cannot be eaten by the soil nor can they be burned. These are the seeds of the body and from these Allah Ta'ala joins the rest of the parts of the body, which have been spread by either being turned into ashes or soil and are reformed into the original body.
5. The soul then comes back into that body and is presented in the field of Resurrection. This day is known as "Hashr".
6. The questions will be asked at that place at which a person has been buried or has been left to rot. Punishment will also occur there. For example, if a tiger has eaten a person, the questions will be asked inside the tiger's stomach, and the punishment and reward will also happen there.
7. A person who rejects the fact of the punishment and reward of the grave is a misguided person.

WHO'S BODY CANNOT BE EATEN BY THE SOIL?

1. The Prophets, the Awliya (Friends of Allah Ta'ala), the Shuhada (Martyrs), a Hafiz of the Quran who also acts upon the instructions of the Holy Quran, a person who has never committed a sin and those who pray the Durood Shareef at all times, their bodies are not eaten by the soil.
2. Those who say that the Prophet's bodies "have died and eaten by the soil" is a misguided person, from the wrong sect, or an evil and an insulting person.

I believe that their body stays and decomposes, and there spirit goes to either Spirit Paradise (Luke 23:39-43 ; 1 Pet 3:18-20 ; 2 Cor 12:4 ; Rev 14:13) or Spirit Prison (Isa 24:22 ; 1 Pet 3:19, 4:6) where they can be converted or stay there.

Some where inbetween they get ressurected (1 Cor 15:21-22 ; Matt 27:52-53 ; John 5:28-29).

Then they live 1000 years of peace, The Millenium (Matt 25:31 ; Rev 20:4-5).

Next they get a second ressurection (1 Cor 15:21-23 ; Rev 20:5).

Then there is the Final Judjment (Rev 20:12-14) for sins not repented for.

Next, depending on the sins you either go to the Celestial Kingdom (1 Cor 15:40-42 ; 2 Cor 12:2 ; Rev 21:7) which is the highest, Terrestrial Kingdom (1 Cor 15:40-42) in the middle, and then the Telestial Kingdom (1 Cor 15:40-42) which is the second lowest (the lowest is known as Outer Darkness, or Hell). From there we believe we live enternally. This is my religion, I'm LDS.

will I believe people have a choice to stay her on earth to be around family or go up and see if your name is on the list to go to haven. If you believe in a Out Of Body Experience they say you can see dead people too. Your soul can never die or belongs to anyone but you. It is just your body that dies. That's way you can take pic and ghost show up sometimes.

It is the same as we switch off an electric bulb or put off a candle. Nothinging special to a human being. Everything in Universe is the form of energy. It can neither be created nor be destroyed. Brahmanandaswamy Sivayogi, the greatest philosopher of Kerala says all of us came from Ananda, living for Ananda and at last join with Ananda(death). Ananda is Eternal. No hell or heaven or Atma.

God's Children dwelled with Him before the world was created. That means before they got physical bodies. Before birth men have bodies made of spiritual matter. WHY? The Spirits of men live with God before birth. Men are spirits. There is no such thing as immaterial matter, but there is spiritual matter that is pure and refined and cannot be seen unless one views it with eyes pure and refined spiritually.

First men lived with God as spirits without bodies,
Then men are born, live and die.
Then comes the resurrection which is brought about because of the merits/power/virture of Christ's resurrection.

Your question is... Heaven or Hell?
ANSWER That happens after death, before the resurrection.

Realize the eternal LAW OF RESTORATION. Things cannot be perfectly restored to any state of being which is in opposition to its nature. Angry people will not magically change to happy people, and vise versa. Believers will not be magically changed to non-believers, or vise versa. Dogs will not be magically changed into cats. etc. etc. etc.
THERE IS NOTHING MAGICAL ABOUT DEATH.
Wickedness never was happiness, and vise versa.

Because Man was a spirit before birth, and has no body after death (until the resurrection), there is no pit of flame to burn in, or a cloud to float on.
BUT, the mind of the man, or the spirit, will either be pained with shame, guilt, remorse, or torment, because of the sin committed in earth life, which torment is described as dwelling in a pit of fire that cannot be quenched;
or else on the other hand the mind of man, or the spirit of the man who gains rest from care and sorrow, who has done righteousness all his days will be be described as dwelling in a paradise with never-ending joy and happiness, rejoicing.

That explained above is between death and the resurrection.

In the Millenium, in the resurrection, when men, or the minds or spirits of men are restored to their physical bodies inseperably forever and ever- Men may continue their good works. If men are not so lucky and must wait until the millenium is almost over before they are resurrected, awful is their state, for they have little time to labor again in tabernacles of clay (immortally).

Then comes the final judgment, where Men will 1) live the kind of life God lives or not 2) live in God's presence or not 3) be quickened in the spirit and their bodies will be quickened to match the kind of spirit as which they are; whether a man live a high law and life spiritually as glorious as the Sun describes LIGHT physically, or whether as the moon or stars, or whether there be no glory at all spiritually, as darkness describes the absence of LIGHT physically- whether any of these, so also will the man's physical body be quickened in the spirit to match the brightness of the Man and his spiritual gloriousness.

mm: From an objective, Holy Bible perspective ... dead people go into the grave and their "breath" (life-spark - NOT "soul") goes back to God. When Jesus Christ returns to the earth, people will be then, resurrected from the grave as whole humans again and given the opportunity for salvation, via the grace of God. (This is a very brief synopsis though, which I have stated !)

It is an interesting question. There are so many stories regarding life after death. But being a human being we cannot belief every thing blindly. One is clear that, to complete the carbon cycle each and every particle of our mortal remains has to return to it's original source during decomposes.

The soul ......(existance of soul is not yet proved by science) I am not ready to talk about soul because there are so many storries behind that and if I say any thing new .... it is meaning less

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

I believe your thoughts and feelings fall asleep and in this sleep - both learn and wait - until the second coming of Jesus Christ. At the second coming those who believe in God and/or Christ awaken and become born to a new earth where there is no pain, no anger - all beings live, work, and study in peace. Those who do not believe in God merely remain a sleep - meaning hell is not a place - it is the absence of God. As for heaven, your mind and heart are where ever God is - and you are a small addition to Him - learning more than life on earth could teach you.

If you have died before your time, or in your sleep, there is a chance of becoming a ghost. (Yes they exist - I know close friends who have seen them - and no, they are rarely harmful/ scary)

Others are often reborn. Someone who has been too steeped in the material pleasures of life may be reborn for a short stint as another living being before taking another birth as a human.

There are times when some people remember what they were in their previous birth, I know cases where children described perfectly places (and houses) they had never been to, and spoke languages they'd never heard.

When their parents took them to that place, they found it all correct, and also found that the person who the child claimed he was, did exist in that city and had died some years ago - before the child was born.

There are only two choices. Every person will be judged.

Revelation 20:11-15
Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:6-8
He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death
The faithful believers who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior will go to heaven.

Revelation 20:4-6
I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

The ones who have rejected Jesus will enter the pits of hell with Satan and his demons.

Luke 13:23-30
Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them, 24 “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25 When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ 26 then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ 27 But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’ 28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out. 29 They will come from the east and the west, from the north and the south, and sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And indeed there are last who will be first, and there are first who will be last.”
