Peace!
The Bible is the word of God in the words of men. Does this mean that every word in the Bible is divine teaching? Of course not! The Bible does not always teach. There are many statements in its various books that are there for historical,.geographical, poetic or other reasons. However, whenever a biblical author intends to teach us something, the Holy Spirit intends that too. Everything that the Bible teaches is without error, but everything in the Bible is not meant as teaching. Each author was left free by the Lord to express himself according to the ideas of his own day. It is the revelation contained in the Scriptures that is important.
If you want the Bible to make a positive impact on your life, read it in the same level it was written - spiritual. God will speak to you.
God bless!

I believe that there are books called the bible, as for the stuff in them the creation story and all that when looked at logically these claims just do not stand up. I do not believe anything in the bible as being true I do realize that it contains some historic details but eliminating what is BS and what is real in the bible is like trying to find a needle in a haystack, So I deny any of the bible being true and refer to history books for historical information.

time for some history, ahem
The bible was made in the council of Nicea by Constantine and held alittle over 300 bishops and priests etc. in it. they complained and argured about all the writtings and gospels out there and the bible was formed.

The Bible you read today is "NOT" the whole story. There were many gospels left out of it. The bible read in todays society is merely a book of "Select" teaching to make christians how they wanted them

Many gospels were left out for merely makeing jesus look...mortal, and purely a teacher, NOT the actual son of god.

Buy "The other bible" it has what was left out at the council. add that to the bible and you have the whole thing, (plus the lies and distortions the catholic church added to make its followers what it wanted)

The Bible is the instruction book full of really good examples of how to live...and not live. Jesus is the teacher and God is the Creator. If we would quit arguing about the Bible and start living it we would be a lot better off.

First off I would like to say to me there is only one Bible, and its the HOLY BIBLE> no other bible is of Gods true words, people believe what they want when it comes to religion. They twist the words of God all around and make it something its not. It also said in the Ten Commandments "There shall be no others God before me" He is not a symbol that some people pray to. He is Jesus Christ, the son of God., and nothing will make me ever believe any different.. Our heavenly father will come to cleanse this earth, and its coming sooner than people realize. If people just take time to sit down and read the Holy Bible, all the things that are happening in this World is already in his words.. Its really sad that so many people are ignorant to who the LORD is. :) God Bless

The Bible is God's Revelation to man about His Plan of Salvation.

It is also a historical document showing us the short comings and over-comings of those who have preceeded us.

Jesus was the promised messiah and king prophesied about throughout the Old Testament.

The New Testament is the explaination and revelation of His coming and that He will come again.

We put our faith in Jesus Christ that He died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead to cover and forgive our sins forever and that we might also overcome sin and death.

Hope that helps some

I believe it is a book. It has pages in it, and it was written by different people. I believe that throughout the years it has been edited and re-edited.

I believe many people claim it as the gospel and many dispel it.

I believe that it has been the catalyst of a lot of good things that people have done and a lot of bad things that people have done.

Outside of the fact that it has been one of the most popular books in history, does not change the fact that it is a book. Plain and simple an interesting book.

I believe that the Bible is Gods Holy written Word. Written by men and inspired by God. God was and is, in complete control of every word in the Bible. His message is just as He intended it to be written.
