I don't anymore, and man, the behavior of Christians here on Y!A makes me glad I'm not. Phew.
My respects to you for asking your question without throwing in childish insults. Thank you.

I am a Christian. I was born and raised a Catholic and early on, when I was still a child, I had conflicting view points with the Catholic church 's doctrine. As I matured, I began to thoroughly question the beliefs I had been taught and I came to the conclusion that the Catholic church was the exact kind of religious organization that Christ preached against. Sitting in church and reciting the same prayers over and over again, in ritualistic fashion, cannot make one righteous in Gods eyes. Saying 5 "Hail Mary's" and 5 "Our Fathers", will not cleanse me from sin. I also believe that saying prayers to Mary or anyone else, other than Christ Jesus Himself, offends God deeply. I totally disagree with the Catholic church for these types of "Man Made Rules" which have the appearance of wisdom, but are contrary to Christ's teachings.

Yes, I am a Christian. Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I became a Christian on Feb. 29, 2000. I was baptized on March 10, 2001 and I have never looked back. I became a Christian because I realized that I was a sinner and I needed Jesus in my life. He saved me and now I live for Him.

I was born into a Christian family, Baptized as a baby, raised in a Lutheran school and then I went off on a search for the meaning of life and stuck with Jesus after emassing a library of over 400 books on science, philosophy, psychology and relgion. I also had personal experiences I would define as religious in nature.

It took place when I was in my mid 20's. I didn't believe, at all. I was in Burlington IA on a two week job assignment. Alone in the motel room looking for something to do I happened onto the motel Bible. Never could understand a single word of it, but I read a short passage about how to pray. Out of boredom I tried to think of something to pray for and thought of a guy - that I very nearly hated - who had a gaping wound for about a year that showed no sign of healing. So I followed the instructions and quickly forgotten all about it.
After I returned home, his injury was healed. Totally. When I saw it, I immediately knew. I felt His presence and my life changed. Not that I did great things, but I had a calm and such a good feeling all the time. That lasted for many months. It was as if I could reach out and touch Him.
I have never questioned His existence since. I don't believe, I know.
People are always asking for proof that He exists. This is my proof, but it usually doesn't do it for those who have to have physical proof. They will never understand unless or until something happens to them.

I am a Christian.
When I was about 12 my brother helped me to understand Jesus and I asked Jesus to forgive my sins.
When I became a Christian I did not know enough about me or Jesus. However, Jesus has carried me through 28 years of learning about Him and all His works and wonders. My relationship with Jesus grows everyday, I'm constantly learning and I have never felt such peace, joy and Love in all my life.

I'm a Christian, but I haven't always been one.
I was raised in a bad environment. My dad was an alcoholic who never worked and was physically abusive. My mother spent all her time in bed avoiding us. We never went to church or socialized with Christians.
As a teen, I experimented with different beliefs. I called myself Wiccan for a while. I read heavily about Buddhism, and I even got into Native American mythology. And for a long time, I thought about being atheist.
When I was out of high school, I went to a church youth group with some friends. I decided to give Jesus a try, and He just stuck to me. I've been hooked ever since.

Yes, I do consider myself to be a Christian. I hold Calvinist beliefs, which answers your questions a little differently:
How? God's grace, I had nothing to do with it.
When? Foreknown and predestined before the foundations of the world. His from eternity to eternity.
Why? God's eternal decree.

No, I do not. I used to be. But too many things have led me to believe that God is not in fact a loving god. That He created this world only as an experiment. Nothing more. It is because of my experiences in life that I am no longer a Christian.

Yes.
How? I fled to Christ and asked Him to save me.
When? December 19, 1997.
Why? God quickened me by His Spirit to realize I was sinner and in need of salvation.
