I have the guy at the END of the list. and there are zillions of things that follow kitty, a puppy, or a teddy bear. But go with the teddy bear. Kittys only cuddle if THEY want, and puppies get destracted and chase shadows just as you get comfortable with them.

I would say a teddy bear because a kitty or puppy can always get up and leave when they get board but a teddy will stay there as long as you want.

Stroking a cat is supposed to lower your blood pressure so you could start there. At night, I totally enjoy having the bed to myself but you can buy those body pillows that are about four foot long and snuggle up to that if you enjoy the cuddly stuff at night.
