Single person going, range depends on how close you are to couple :

S$20 for weddings at void deck
S$60-80 for hotel/ restaurant outside CBD
S$80-120 for high class hotel in CBD

If not going at the last minute, pay above full rate if you did not tell the couple in advance because they have already catered for your seat.

If not going and informed early enough for them to re-allocate your seat, then its S$40 for hotel/ restaurant outside CBD, S$60 for high class hotel in CBD.

If not going and said so immediately upon being informed before getting the invitation card, then not really necessary to give. U're probably not that close anyway.

Double if going with spouse/ partner.

depend on how close are you to your friends, venue of the dinner. You can't expect people to pay $100 for a dinner in a restuarant or $60 for the dinner at a five star hotel.
