I downloaded a movie and watched it on winamp, worked just fine, now when I go to watch it the movie will start playing and I can hear it, but I don't get a picture. Strange thing about it is when I downloaded the same movie (x-men 3) from different sources the same damn thing happens, audio, but no visual. wtf??

It mean that you do not have the right decoder to do the jobs.
Will you able to play it back on Windows Media Player? Likely it will provide you with the information what decoder you don't have.

Hi,
Double click on the menubar of winamp. or press the downward arrow sign. If it worked before, then it should work even now. It is just a matter of hiding the video window.

There might be some corrupt codecs on ur system..try installing some codec softwares like KLITE or ACEMEGA...
try also uninstalling your winamp and reinstall it again..

it depends on the file format....
It used to happen to me too. I couldnt watch any .avi videos. Then I downloaded the codec from www.divx.com and now i can watch any .avi video..
Check your file if it is a .avi format then i would say go to www.divx.com and download the codec.
You dont have to installl the player too...just install the codec...it will ask you while installing.

Ensure you have the required codecs like Divx (www.divx.com) to play the video files.
