My birthday is coming up soon, and I know at least one of my friends wants to celebrate my birthday with them, but I know my bf wants to do the same. So how do I balance friends and boyfriend on the same day, or should I ask one or the other to celebrate it another day?

Breakfast and lunch with your friends. And afternoon and dinner with your Boyfriend. So they both have time with you to celebrate that special day. You can even switch times depending what you are doing for your birthday.
Also don't forget this is your Birthday and if that means you celebrate with all of them at the same time they need to be able to do whatever you might like. They should be able to get alone for a couple of hours together. Good Luck

Best thing I think would be celebrating it during the day with a friend and night with a bf. Make time for both because you put of ahead of the other(if you chose another day) and that can cause serious problems. Try to manage your time. And its better, like when im with my gf at night its more romantic and like we both feel closer to each other. But like the day time when her friends or other ppl its a little different.Hopefully that helps

-You could have a party with both there.
-You could have lunch with your friends and dinner with your boyfriend.
-Don't ask either to celebrate on another day with you, as this would be very insulting.
