The best way to get tall is to delay your last growth spurt as long as possible. Generally, being thin and fit and healthy delays the spurt more than chubby and lethargic. So the best thing to do is take sports and exercise and eat healthy and lean. Grow slowly until you're 17 and then hopefully by 21 you'll be a strapping 190 cm. Remember also that growth is in the legs mostly for height so keep your legs strong.

I am from the 'States, so I don't know how tall 143cm is. We go by feet and inches. 12 inches to a foot. But if you can let us know how tall that is, and if you don't have dwarfism, I think you just need to wait because you will grow really, really, quickly. Don't worry dear, I went thru the same thing when I was your age. You will be just fine. I really wish I knew how tall 143 cm is but I don't. I will look it up for you, but go ahead and e-mail me if you wish. And remember, don't worry! you absolutely will be just fine! Everyone goes thru the same stuff at your age. Good Luck Sweetie! ---Laurelf

I know how difficult it is to be short and want nothing more than to be taller. But honestly, in due time, you'll love your height. There's nothing you can do to really grow taller. And honestly, I'm pretty sure I was the same height (actually, a little shorter than you) at your age. I had my growth spurt at 15... Yours will come around that time too. :) No worries... being short has it's many advantages.

if youre a male, you won't finish growing until about 19years of age. Take a look at your parents height to get an idea of where you might end up. In the mean time, continue to eat a great diet full of all the right vitamins and minerals in order to prepare your body for the growth spurts that do occur.

You will hit a few more growth spurts before you hit 20 so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I would ask your Doctor about it the next time you go for a check up. He or she will compare your height to the average for you age group. If the Doctor thinks there is a problem, he or she can order some blood work to check your hormone levels. If a problem is discovered, you could receive injections of growth hormone to compensate for a low level of it. And of course, make sure to eat your spinach!

1. Get lots of sleep, as this will effect your hormone levels in general. Lack of sleep can reduce hormones such as human growth hormone, which is what makes you grow.
2. Do not stress out over things. Stress will also reduce the amount of human growth hormone in your body.
3. Eat a well balanced diet, and take multivitamins. Lots of proteins too, as you will need them in order to grow.
Of course, there's only so much you can do, as your height is controlled somewhat by your genes too. But you can maximize your growth potential by following these three simple rules. By not following these rules, your growth will certainly be stunted.

You have the opportunity to become a jet pilot, a jockey, or anything else you want to be and lots of women love smaller statute men.
