When we went to the local amusement park Six Flags became Sicks Fags.
Like so many before, there is just something about the word truck that always comes out with an F substituted for the TR.
Then my niece at 6 loved the song "When Will I Be Loved", you know, the one that goes "I've been cheated, been misbreeded".
My youngest grandson finally started calling his older brother Jonathan. Just a few months ago, it was coming out as Dawson. Well, as a teen, Jonathan tends to be up a creek a lot, maybe lil' bro knew something.
And back to my daughters. Both of them loved their pusgetti, but the mata saws would really make a mess when they ate.

I used to put my son to bed everynight and have to promise him that the tomatos wouldn't come and hurt him. I didn't know where on earth he got the idea that a veggie was out to get him, but after a trailer park outside of our town got ripped apart and levaled, he told me that the tomatos got those houses!!
Okay tomato - tornado , let's call the whole thing off. : )
It was just so cute!! It was well over a year of promising there'd be no tomatos come for him.
Now, I feel bad because that was a promise I couldn't really keep!!
Kids are so amazing!!!!

pabo (for Pablo from the backyardigans)
carepul (for careful)
I sowee (for sorry)
nanana (banana)
stow (store)
sucker (soccer)
fie-fies (french fries or whenever he sees mcdonalds on rare occasions)
I have a 2 year old whose vocabulary is quite incredible & for the most part he can pronounce even the most difficult words, but the words above are the ones he's still working on.
But don't they all just sound absolutely adorable?! I just love it!

I'll tell you some words that I mispronounced when growing up: I was pronouncing "f" instead of "th". A speech therapist brought this to my attention, and I fixed it.
