No atheist here is going to say that the devil exists, first of all.
Secondly, it's my opinion that the Christian interpretation of God doesn't exist for countless reasons, the most important of which being that there is just no convincing evidence. If there is, then I haven't seen it, and I would LOVE to see it... but in my opinion, it doesn't exist. Also, based on the experiences I've had, the research I've done, and my own logic and reason, I've concluded that a God as described by the Bible is pretty safely impossible. The whole "eternal punishment" thing is TOTALLY illogical and that alone, from my view, proves that the whole concept is preposterous. And don't even get me started on the whole idea that non-Christians are going to Hell just for that reason, or that the all-powerful, all-knowing, awesome creator of the universe cares about petty things like homosexuality -- There's just no way any of this is true.
Posting Bible verses every day isn't going to "get through to" anyone, either. In fact that'll just annoy people probably. Don't bother; it won't do any good, trust me.

Most of us are big readers and we have investigated things so we know about your faith. I have read the entire Bible which is more than MOST Christians can say.
No of course we do not believe in Satan. That is just as silly.
I know because the proof of non-existence is a total lack of evidence. There isn't a shed of evidence to support any god. That makes it unreasonable to think it is real. You would be stuck with a lot of ridiculous stuff if you had to believe in everything that didn't have evidence.

I don't believe anybody who believes in the devil doesn't believe in god. They pretty much go together. Satan worshipers believe in god. We atheists don't believe in either. There is a big difference between being an atheist and being a satan worshiper.
How can you believe posting a verse every day isn't shoving it down everyone's throat?
It sure won't get anything through to me.

Do what you feel you must, however I don't need your verses as I am currently reading the Bible myself. If I find myself with a question (which I have once already) I will post it. Secondly, if you do this, be prepared to be reported, a lot of people don't take kindly to this, and if you post a verse without a question, they would be fully within guidelines to report you. I won't, personally, but just giving you a heads up.

Neither exists.
Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

I don't know about god, just his followers. Their actions deny what good can be found in the bible, just as Mohammed's followers deny what good can be found in the Koran and Abraham's followers deny what good can be found in the Torah.
I know that the universe can be explained without god. I know that natural evil (that not associated with free will) can be better explained without god and that positing a loving god who created the Black Death seems like a contradiction.
I have no problem with people who believe in god, santa claus, the easter bunny, satan, aliens, bigfoot, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster (praise be his name). I have a problem with people who want me to believe in what they believe in or who want to restrict my actions to those which they approve of.

Think about it. If an atheist did all that posting, would it sway you to believe them? Absolutely not!
If we really want to get through to people, we do it by sincere love, flawless character, and speaking the truth in all things. I've known many Christians in my life who preached the gospel with their mouths and never came through in their deeds.

Atheists don't believe in the supernatural, which includes God, Satan, angels, demons, spirits, souls, gnomes or leprechauns.
If you want the full story of why I don't believe in God, you can read my blog on it at the following 360 page:

Posting something that is not a question on Answers will cost you points and may lead to suspension or forfeiture of your Yahoo! account.

I know all about what his believers have claimed of him - each claim I find contradictory and absurd. If I don't believe in God, would I believe in the devil?
How do I know the Lord doesn't exist? I don't "know" that he doesn't, but I know that it is highly improbable.
