I have formatted my hard and installed XP. After doing that I get an error. I can log on as Administrator but the moment I do that the mechine logs me off. I log off as soon as I log on. It's service pack 2. Whati s wrong with this. Is it software or hardware?

Re-install XP if a restore doesn't work. Ensure that your hard drive is NTFS formatted. Ensure you do a full format when installing XP again. This happened to me with Vista after I installed certain software that wasn't 100% compatible. Vista sucks so I put my XP Pro back on.

i think you may have to reformat and reinstall windows again because thats the first time ive heard of that happening b 4.
