Dont know where to find one but go for a rottweiler. They are sweet but very protective and will protect the entire family unlike most guard dogs. Try a humane society or look online for dogs that are adoptable.

You could try getting a st.bernard dog. They are kind of nice. They are long haired so keep in mind of the grooming you would need to be doing every once in a while. I dont know if getting a pit bull would be a good idea. They can be kind of mean. My brother's friend's grandpa had a pitbull and it ate one of his boots! They also slobber a lot. My uncle owns a really nice rottweiler. A rottweiler would be a good dog. But keep in mind they can also be mean too.

get a pit bull or a dachshund lol! I have 4 pit bulls and a dachshund and she is more vicious than all of them put together, I have to put her up when people come over. And she barks at everything. They always tell me whats going on in my neighborhood.

Please don't get a pit or rott, i've had both. I'm not saying they are bad dogs, but if you want an awesome protector, but very loyal, get an American bulldog. There's no comparison. They are way better.
