It would take as long as necessary to find a half a person, who could then take a half an hour to dig a half a hole.
Or is half of a whole hole twice a quarter hole, providing you could quarter a hole. Didn't anyone ever tell you that this is easier with pies instead of holes?
Holy moley, there ain't no half a hole. But ifin' there were, it would take 15 minutes to dig with a whole shovel but 30 minutes to dig with a half a shovel.
