Mine is Francis. I chose it in honour of St. Francis of Assisi. I was very attracted to his spirituality at the time of my conversion (and still am), especially because of his profound love for Christ crucified. He knew that humility and poverty of spirit are the key to holiness.
God bless!

My confirmation name is Elizabeth. I took it after St. Elizabeth of Portugal. She was very devout and went to mass every day. She never let anything stand in her way, even when lies were spread about her. And stayed by her husbands side even when the lies were going around.
I took it because it went together with my name. Jamie Lynn Elizabeth.....

i am not confirmed, but i am going to be, this spring. we artaking appologetics on wednesday, after adoration, from the preist. it is for highschool, and conformation. we just finished the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and today we started the fruits.
my name will be Faustina.
i like her, lots, and we do a lot of divine mercy stuff, here. the preist has a strong devotion to Mary and the Divine Mercy, so we do lots of that.
and it is a pretty name, too.
my name is Mary Grace Brody, and i think that that is a pretty name, and it would be great as Mary Grace Faustina Brody.
does your name legally change after conformation? just like it does for marrage?

Thomas Aquinas, because I looked up to him as the author of the Summa Theologicae, one of the greatest Treatices on the subject of Christianity, specifically disproving every single objection the protestant reformation raised against the Roman Catholic Church.

Was never confirmed so I guess I don't need to ride on somebody elses reputation. I get to have free will and make my own fate in the universe!

Although I am female, St. Gratia, was male, and a seafarer. My confirmation name was Grace, after St. Gratia and also after one of my Irish ancestors.

Interesting question, and the funny thing is I could hardly remember(been awhile). Mine's St. Bernadette, and I have no idea why I chose it.
