Support is pathetic for a war that is costing us billions of tax dollars. It directly defies the will of the people. I think I read somewhere in polls something like 60-70% of us are opposed to it. Can someone back me up?

Ignorant people call other people cowards. I'm 100% for troops but i'm not for where they are and I think they are being misused. Why don't we have more troops hunting Osama Bin Laden and going after him. To me there are too many questions not being answered by our government.

A CNN poll in August 2006 stated 60% of Americans still opposed the war in Iraq.

Attached is the link to the poll.

It sounds to me what you observed on television become a one sided talk on the conflict. seems that's absolutely everyone of those human beings have time for. Anti Anti. in the event that they simply new that each and absolutely everyone they're doing is giving gas to the terrorist and to the Anti Iraq infantrymen there. it quite is the comparable factor that occurred in Korea,Viet Nam and a few different places. Its stated as divide and wait. U.S. gets drained and pull out and that they take over while the time is sturdy. U.S. won't circulate decrease back to assist whether asked. we now have a waist of infantrymen existence's and money. no longer something become accomplished via fact of those people who do no longer think of of what there doing. the protection stress of previous could take those infantrymen and court martial them for treason. that's, doing any act that can supply the enemy an benefit. at times they have been completed without trial. Orders by applying their C.O. in the event that they're out of the provider while making those statements they are able to connect Hanoi Jane Fonda. Vet's do no longer overlook.

No. Your wrong. Taking a poll of 500 people and saying it reflects the will of the entire country is insane. Most Americans dislike the direction the war has taken (Which is what the polls you refer to reflect. Loook at how the questions are phrased.), but understand why we are there. At least the intelligent ones do. Deep down in peoples heart of hearts they know what needs to be done and how important this is. At least I hope they do, or we're going to really pay for it down the road. God bless GW!

I'm not opposed to killing radical muslims who are hellbent on killing every living American on the planet. I support killing them. The president seemed to indicate that there would be a new ROE implemented. I hope that means more people are killed for disregarding the rules that they must live under during war.

When you use the word us, i.e. including me in your factless statement, you better leave me out punk.

The midterm elections were a resolution on the war. I'm afraid Bush still doesn't get it. I would say the majority oppose the war based on November's election results.

I've heard that 60% of the people are opposed to SENDING MORE TROOPS. I don't know about the war in general.

Don't have any numbers right now, but if it's any indication, he's starting to lose Utah, the reddist state in the nation. I think his war support there is in the low 40's now. When that happens, it mean's he's losing his base big-time.

It depend who you poll and where you poll, and you can pretty much get whatever poll result you want.

Then there's the issue of people actually informed on the war, and not just swallowing Chris Matthews.
