You can believe in reason. But it seems you have already embraced it.

Why is is so hard to understand? Perhaps it's peer pressure? Maybe your friends share your...Logic? Perhaps you believe that when you die that is it. Maybe this is your logical idea of "Heaven." But it's dark. There's nothing there. It's cold. Blackest of black. We choose to not believe because we don't understand, and when we start to, we don't want to. Maybe you believe that heaven and hell are far-fetched. But what if your wrong? What if it is there, but you cannot reach it because you didn't believe? Wouldn't be hell to know that you had chance after chance, but you simply had no faith. With faith, there's belief. And with belief, there is life after death. And that faith will lead you home.

Try not to ever believe anything, "I think therefore I am" the only thing that you can truly know is that your consciousness exists.
Everything else should be based on facts not beliefs, we can never know if something is real or not but we can use our logic to decide what is more likely.

It sounds like you believe in yourself. Bravo for you! So some day when you stand before God you can tell Him how logical you have been, without a Savior you are toast.

Consider this passage from the bible.
Romans 1:20
From the creation of the world, God's invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly observed in what he made. As a result, people have no excuse.

you can believe in water. think about it.
water is immortal, it is strong, it can give life or destroy it. if you are as logical as you say you are to you this could be what gods are based on. if i were you i would simply believe in the powers of the univese and try not to interupt it.

Great question. I think you can strive to believe in yourself and in humanity itself. Whatever is logical to you and you can experience in daily life.
Simple things...like doing good things for other people. It always seems to come back to you.
One of the most rewarding things is doing volunteer work...it makes you happy, helps people, etc.
blah, blah.
I like intelligent people. Good luck.

When you stop and take a look at how complex life is then it's only logical to believe in God. Life doesnt just pop out of no life. Recent discoveries in Microbiology have shown that life is more complex than originally thought. To believe that life, as complex as it is, popped out of no where and for no reason is to believe in miracles. And only God is capable of miracles.

You don't sound very logical too me. But you believe there is no heaven or hell. You believe there is no reincarnation or karma. So your belief is that you don't believe in anything. Only what you can see.
Romans 1:18
18The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
