Assuming, of course, there is one.

(A God, I mean.)

From the responses I see from many Christians on the boards, hell no. It's still very much a UNIverse. The Multiverse concept hasn't reached many people of religion yet. The light hasn't quite reached the attic, if you know what I mean. Or as Asimov put it: "To surrender to ignorance and call it God has always been premature, and it remains premature today."

Our universe and subsequent multiverse could've been formed out of the collapse of the previous series of Universes. But, studies have shown that the Universe probably isn't acting as a giant spring, so I'm assuming that some spontaneous eruption of kinetic energy arising from a previously existing Universe, universes or multiverses caused the following expansion, twisting and possible contraction of the current dark-matter Universe.

No god.

Multiverse? See I associated our universe with multiple galaxies. Wikipedia again!

There must be life out there. I do think that God could have been the big bang. Maybe He is still creating universes.

Damn, I guess some people are afraid of the wikipedia.

I don't think He created the universe just for us, but I do believe He created the multiverse not just for us.

Well He didn't create the universe it for us. So He probably didn't create any multiverse for us either.

God did not create the universe for us. He created it for His good pleasure, because He wanted to. If He created the universe for us, what would be the point of creating stars, planets and galaxies that we will never see? It was for Himself that He created it.

It's pretty arrogant to think a creator would create an entire universe for the delight of the inhabitants of one litty bitty planet.....

Methinks perhaps the reason to those answers are kind of like this. How can you discover the universe when all we do is kill each other?
