What? What kind of strange question is this? If onions cried, you could say the same about every food that contains water and then there'd be no stopping people! We'd be overrun by Sobbing Spuds, Agitated Asparagus, Blubbering Beetroot, Tempermental Tomatoes, the list would go on and on...

No the onion does not cry but because of the chemicals it releases naturally when cut, you do.
