I am getting married in April. My groom is going to wear a kilt, but the best man is not. (him in a kilt would not be good idea):) I cannot for the life of me think of what the best man should wear. My maid of honor is wearing a light brown dress, and I don't really have any "colors" persay, but rather a mixture of wildflowers and spring colors. It is an outdoor wedding. I don't want black! I was thinking maybe nice khakis and a white button up shirt, but I would love to hear other people's ideas! Thanks!

You know that would be fine, it will go better with the maid of honors dress and plus its outside...Im glad your using all sorts of colors, spring offers to many colors just to be using one...Congrats on your upcoming event...

I would go with a light colored suit that compliments the maid of honor's dress. You can go tie or no tie depending on how formal you want him to look, but a light color will work nicely for both the spring and the outdoor setting. Will your maid of honor have flowers? Maybe the best man could have a boutonniere that matches.

I would go with a light brown suit and maybe a plaid tie that matches the groom's kilt. (white shirt, of course). The tie would help tie-in the kilt and the brown suit would match with the maid of honor.

I think a suit would work best. Dressier than khakis and a button up shirt, and he'll more closely match the formality of the maid of honor. He shouldn't wear a tux, though, or he'll be too overdressed.

How about a nice sport coat in tan or grey with a nice pair of khakis or brown slacks. Give him some type of buttoniere to where that matches the flowers to tie things together.

I don't see why he couldn't wear a khaki colored suit...then have him wear a relaxed shirt which is one of the colors in your MoH's dress...
