I think that maybe one day someone made a joke, like, "Oh Jesus, you think you're the Son of God don't you?" and then he went around messing with everyone's mind and then everyone believed him.
And he made up the story of the three kings and his virgin mother and all that, maybe because he was embarrased about his mother being a whore.

Bonsai Bobby, I don't take anything written in the Bible as truth. I wouldn't be surprised if he ran and cried like a baby, but they (the writers of the Bible) chose to edit that part and make him seem more hero-like.

You must not be a very happy person if the only thing you look forward to is trying to provoke anger from people you'll never meet.

Maybe you should read C.S. Lewis. It would be more constructive.

C.S. Lewis was an athiest who discovered the beauty of the Christian religion.

"I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.
C. S. Lewis "

Here is a great movie to explain the history behind the christian faith.

The God Who Wasn't There.

http://www.thegodmovie.com/

Bowling for Columbine did it to the gun culture.

Super Size Me did it to fast food.

Now The God Who Wasn't There does it to religion.

Holding modern Christianity up to a bright spotlight, this bold and often hilarious new film asks the questions few dare to ask.

Your guide through the world of Christendom is former fundamentalist Brian Flemming,
joined by such luminaries as Jesus Seminar fellow Robert M. Price, professor Richard Dawkins, author Sam Harris and historian Richard Carrier.

See the movie the Los Angeles Times calls "provocative - to put it mildly."

Hold on to your faith.

It's in for a bumpy ride

The entirety of christianity is a con job conjured up to subdue insurgent, messianic Jews and delude them into thinking prophecies had come to fruition. Josephus, the Jewish turncoat had a heavy hand in the composition of the new Testament to appease his new employers, the Roman Flavian Emporers.

It's obvious you wrote this in spite. But how is it that we glorify those who "Conquered the world" with a sword, or gun, yet we cannot concieve of a man conquering the world with words of truth and wisdom? And to "Make a story of three kings and his virgin mother and all that" What would be the point of even making up a story like that? Methinks you should relook over your resources for your opinion and try to find some facts.

lets not insult the figure the world's largest religion is based on.
but i think either he or whoever used him as an idol in creating the religion was starting the greatest con of all time.

Usually, those kind of lies don't stand the test of time nor do people die for the cause. Jokes don't last for more than a few days, you foolish woman.

Wow..this is really sad. :( I think you need help..I really do. I am praying for God to open your heart. I would hate for you to be thinking of this day and what you said when you are screaming in a lake of fire..:(

Please consider Jesus Christ as your savior. He died for your sins..so you wouldnt have to die and go to hell.

Wasn't CS Lewis a Christian? That quote sure sounds like he is an actual Christian, not just that he found beauty in it.
