Humans are capable of creating amazing beauty and goodness. God, however, gave us free agency so we are also capable of creating devastating evil. I am a Christian and I believe in looking for the good in people. Christ taught us that we should look for the good in all that is around us and forgive others of their weaknesses. All Christians should feel the same way. Unfortunately, as with every other group of humans everywhere, there are those who are good and those who are bad. I'm sorry you've had a bad experience with Christians.
