So, what you're saying is, the flaw in Satanism is its' name? I disagree. I'd wager that by now you've seen the Nine Satanic Statements, and know that it is the adversary's characteristics which are emulated. I'd also be willing to bet that you already know we do not believe in a deified Satan. Yes, christianity is commonly mocked, and their image of Satan is expounded upon. That does not equal hypocrisy.

Well, Satan is the most well know adversary of this time where Anton Levay came from.
I found Satanism to be quite as convoluted and contradicting as Christianity. Yet, the Church of Satan religion would probably be the closest I ever came to a formalized religion.

Actually there are Satanist who worship Satan as described in the Christian religion. Then there are Humanist who are considered to be Satanist by name due to lack to knowlege by society. A Humanist is someone who does things out of rebellion or self benefit. Usually they call themselves a Satanist just for shock value.

I hate Satanists. Thanks to them a bunch of Atheists are getting a bad name. They are nothing more than a bunch of teenage kids (or adults with the same brain capacity) that are rebelling against mommy and daddy's religion. They are no better than the pagans.

I think if we chose our religions on names and not what we believed in we'd all be even more ignorant

Hmmm the fact that there is a Satan should show that God is fallible... So shouldn't the question be that if Satan exists, then how can God exist?
