So I'm going over to this guy's dorm room. I like him and We've hung out a few times and watched movies but I'm not comfortable with kissing him yet although he has tried twice (I shut him down each time) I'm going over there now to chill with him but I need to explain I like him but I can't kiss him yet. here's what I'm planing to do.
When i first get there I'm just going to say we need to talk. then i'm going to say. "i like you but I feel like i need to get to know you better."
Or should i wait until he tries something to say this.
do you have a better idea what to say?

And Its a dorm room so answers like don't go to his bedroom aren't needed b/c his whole place is his bedroom.

one more thing. The other time he tried to kiss me and i pulled away he said he was sorry so I feel like he wont pressure me.

Strategy: lead him to believe good things will come in time
Don't say "we need to talk", he will be turned off. Say "I would like to tell you something", then instead of being turned off he is intrigued. Tell him you like nice guys, and that you need to get to know him better before you get any kindof physical together. Tell him this before hand, then ask him if he would like to watch a movie or something. This way he knows your interested, want to stay but not do anything.

Just be honest with him. Tell him that you just want to take things real slowand that you do like him. Remember most men are insecure about themselves even though they try not to show it. You have to make sure that you do your best to not hurt his ego.
If he is a good guy he will understand and give you the proper time you need. Remember though that you cannot lead him on. If you say you want to take it slow don't tease him and then pull the plug on the whole thing. This could hurt his pride and then the whole thing goes up in smoke.

Ok i know what you need to do just go to his dorm and if he tries to kiss you then that's when your plan comes in but don't make it seem like you are a bad person and if you get nervous then stop before he does anything see what happens then

Listen, sweetie. I don't need to say much because you sound like you have your head on your shoulders. Telling him how you feel about him and not wanting to kiss him yet isn't a bad idea. If he does like you, he'll respect your decision and continue to be a friend to you without forcing you to do anything like this. When you tell him how you feel, look at his face expression and wait for a couple of days and see how he acts(if he still want to hang out, if he still calls you and stuff like that) and then, you can make your decision. What you wrote sounds good, but you need to explain that you are interested.
By what you said he might get the wrong idea that you are not interested. Do you understand what I am trying to say.
I am suprised that he hasn't gotten the hint by you pulling away everytime he tries to kiss you.

you need to tell before for tries to do anything so then he doesn't get mad and if he gets mad or doesn't understands then hes not right for you because you need someone who understands where your coming from and cares about how you feel
