Sylvia Browne uses a technique called cold reading (or sometimes hot reading) to get responses from people. She has been debunked time and time again, and you shouldn't waste any more time or money on her.

Sylvia Brown may or may not be a fraud; I don't know.
But assuming for a second that her claims of channelling are true, then she is a monumental fool. Here's a dimwit who welcomes possession and then gives the 'wisdom' of her spirit guide precedence over known history, science and evidence.
She had the unbelievable nerve to repeat that old bit of foolishness about aliens building the pyramids!
She takes her spirit guide's pronouncements about Jesus as gospel!
Personally, I think she's just a fraud. But if she's not she's an utter fool.

Do I believe in her? No! If she is "connecting with the dead", then those "dead" are not in heaven. If they are not in heaven, then it stands to reason that they are demons, playing games. I believe it is merely a crutch used for closure, nothing more, nothing less. So, yes, I think Silvia Brown is phony.

I have written down some of the predictions she has made, and most have been wrong. I think she's just out to make money. Just watching her answer people's questions on the Montel Williams shows makes me know she is a fake. She's very general, and when she is specific it's always something that can't be proved. I like John Edwards though. I've seen him be very specific and they do follow ups with people and he's been very accurate.
