I hired a PI to follow my wife who was sneaking out at night. On the first night my wife caught the PI trying to follow her, and linked him back to me!!
Turns out she was sneaking to for drugs...now she is demanding I help her pay for her addiction, and the PI who GOT CAUGHT wants me to pay him for services. What do i do?!

You need to stick this one out. I am pretty she still loves you as long as you provide her drugs. This is a core to any relationship. Just get a 2nd or third job so she can have more money for drugs.

About the PI i suggest telling him he was following the wrong wife, you meant your other wife therefore making his services invalid.

Pack your bags and get out while you still can. She's going to either suck you dry of everything you own and even stuff you don't , or she'll drag you right down with her. Let her deal with her problem, she asked for it, but you didn't. The PI, I don't know, it depends on if he has enough money to spend on the lawyer to take you to court where he'd have about a 50-50 chance. If he's a broke bum then who cares? Stiff him on it. Or give him half if he earned it. But getting himself busted is pretty shoddy work. You may as well have followed her yourself, you would in fact have gotten in less trouble for it than being guilty of sicking a PI on your spouse, which would have made you look really bad if you'd been in the wrong. But with a relationship so screwed up you have the need to hire a PI in the first place speaks volumes. This is a dead end street. Turn and run, while you still can.

I dont know what you can do bout the PI cause thats prob a legal problem and you should have discused what happens if he gets caught...but you should tell your wife to get fudged and clean her act up..do you really wanna be married to someone who takes potential killing pills for fun?

I would definately NOT help her support her habit. I suggest you seek professional help for her and you two get some counciling. As for the PI, I think you're screwed on this one and gonna have to fork up the money.

you weren't happy with your service. tell him to sue you . in small claims court you will probably have to pay half of his services because he did, in fact, work for you. anywayzzzz.....about your wife, you just need to give the chick an intervention. threaten the marriage if you have to.
