I know there are septillions, which is five levels higher than a billion . . . but I don't know what the biggest number is.

Why are the largest numbers always 1s with lots of 0s behind them? Wouldn't a 9 with an equal number of 0's be even bigger?

I believe a Centillion would be the highest named number. That would be a 1 with 600 zeros behind it. or maybe googlplex. Check here:
