maybe I am phycially tired today but I am tired of always hearing that people don't believe in God b/c of all the suffering in the world, b/c people die of certain diseases, b/c innocent people have bad things happen to them. Lets take some personal responsibility for our actions: WE are killing the ozone, WE have put animals out of existance, WE aren't teaching our children by a poor example, WE created many STD's with sexual immorality, WE let priests continue to molest little boys with no consequences, WE are taking God out of schools, WE are trying to be friends with our kids not parents, WE are getting a divorce b/c WE didn't know the person in the first place, WE are destroying our world!!
WE ARE REAPING WHAT WE HAVE SOWN.
We are taking God out of a country that was founded on Christian principles. WE are asking God to butt out and leave us alone and now that he is, WE are crying he doesn't fix what we are destroying and so WE don't want to believe.

I said WE to proove a point, Christians, non Christians, etc. Everyone has a part in the destruction going on around us. If children are starving it is not b/c God doesn't intervene, If bombs are going off in Iraq its not b/c God doesn't intervene. We need to stop blaming God and saying we don't believe b/c God allows this to happen when it is personal responsibility and as my first responder so intelligently put . . . free will of our own to do so. Its not God.

If one of the unbelievers invites you and you want to go, eat anything that is set before you without asking questions for conscience' sake. 1cor.10:27
It is good to thirst for rightousness, but bitterness isn't good and can severely impair you focus on jesus Christ. If people don't want to listen, then we must dust our feet and move on, Just like Jesus commanded. god will judge everyone in the end. don't worry.

This is the Planet Earth's natural course. You seem downtrodden by the events which happen everyday. Have a little faith. This is a planet of suffering and trials, in order to evolve, we must bare this course, and the corporeal existence(s) we have here.
As you evolve, you will understand more of how these things need to happen, and how when people dis-incarnate (die), it is not necessarily a tragic thing. The tragedy in leaving this world, is not having used your time to evolve.
True, this is a very difficult world for most people, but when an individual becomes disturbed, and/or depressed at their surroundings, they only need to look down the rung of humanity, to find that they are blessed. Look at all the people directly involved in starving, in war, in poverty. These people truly suffer a physical, mental and emotional trial.
On the other hand, most people in developed countries have food, shelter, property, etc, and anguish over more emotional things within their environment.
It is true, people reap what they have sown. We may reap our rewards in this current existence, or in a future one. You may be reaping what you've sown in a corporeal existence before this one. That is why it is necessary to be, and to do, good. Forgive others, have tolerance for others, and respect others ideas. Do not impress yourself upon others. Do to others, what you'd have them do to you, a simple, but difficult rule to follow. Be certain, that when you give advise, that you are not a hippocryte, and have the same advise apply to you.
Have tolerance, and patience. Use logic to understand your surroundings, and how the universe works, and your heart will be put at ease. Remember, this life, is only a mere second, in the face of eternity.

OK , child of God, I think you are tired. Don't let the world take away your joy. You belong to the Lord Jesus Christ and He is working in your life. God knows how terrible our world is and He will return to correct all the wrongs in it. Stay close to the Lord and Study the Bible, and pray. Good Bible study at ttb.org. You really sound overwhelmed, so just rest in the Lord for awhile. It takes many people to ruin the world, not just Christians. God Bless and may the Lord give you peace and safety this year.

America wasn't founded on Christian principles--Christians were a minority within the founding fathers.
Here's the deal: you have take yourself away from this situation. Don't fight fire with fire. If you're tired of people putting Christiniaty down, then be the best Christian you can be.
Don't spout words when actions speak even louder.
A person's relationship with God is their own relationship. The best thing you can do is be the best Christian you can be, through your actions, and continue living through YOUR relationship with Christ.
Remember: it's not one NATION under God, it's one WORLD under God.

There have been alot worse things happen in other countries, I'm sick of hearing about 9/11, America acts as if it was the worst loss of human life in the history of the world.
Why don't you go and live in Iraq for a while, and then you will know what it's like for all the Iraqi children who fall asleep to the sound of bombs dropping and guns firing.

Well said. It is in the nature of man to point the finger at another to blame them or have them share the blame. Misery loves company. Notice the first thing Adam said when God met him in the garden after Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit....
The woman YOU gave me tempted me with the fruit!
Eve said oh ya.....that snake did it! The snake, it was the snake!

I didn't pray when the planes hit the towers. I was too busy putting my search and rescue gear together because I knew the volunteer team I was a member of was going to get activated and very likely called to serve.
I assure you, prayer never occured to me when I watched the buildings collapse.

It's very good that you blame humanity for its actions. I agree. But I don't think it's because we're "turning away from God". It's because humans can do some bad things. That explains everything. No need to invoke the supernatural.

Good point. I don't agree that WE are killing the ozone but most of the rest is true. That applies to Christians, but also to non-Christians.

I have to agree with you here. I do get tired of people complaining about things. We do have free will. I use my free will to choose God..and everlasting life. I am excited about being at peace in heaven with my Lord..:)
