YOU are limited by what income you have in your choice of housing ... and remember, it is very expensive to provide everything that you need (Food, Clothing, Shelter, paying for utilities, insurance ...).
Also .. if you are moving in with others, you need to remember that ALL of you need to cooperate with the BILLS that are due .. and to live within this little community that you formed. IF you can NOT live with your family (and have blown it there), then how are you going to change to live with others?

When you are emancipated it means you are a legal adult as far as the law is concerned. You still can't vote nor drink but you can decide where you live and what school you go to. I got emacipated when I was 16. The worst trouble I had was the school counselor when I switched schools. She had a hard time wrapping her brain around the idea that I could decide for myself what classes I wanted to take (She wanted me in Advanced English and I said no, I want Standard English) I loved being able to write my own sick notes.

Well, you're free to do what you want and if they welcome you to your home, I really don't see the problem. Unless it's something like they're unwillingly taking you in, then yes, you have a problem, but not of the legal sort, just an issue of good manners.

If you are emancipated there is no law or ordinance saying where you can or cannot live.
