the bible explains why we suffer/die. The reason is that humans rebelled from god and instead trusted in themselves to do whatever they want. Yet, suffering serves a good purpose in that it teaches us that we are wrong and that we cannot live happy unless we follow and listen to God. Suffering also teaches us to trust in god and depend on him, since God is our heavenly father. God works all things for the good and wants us to come to him even though we have messed up.

Your doubts are of yourself not god. God is very real, I know I have had first hand experience/encounter. You don't have to be a christian to believe in god, be a good rightious honest person, don't fool yourself or others. Everything does happen for a reason, there is no such thing as a coincidence, an accident or luck. Remember God is the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. You, me, we are all brothers and sisters and children of our heavenly father and earthly mother. God is a part of you and sees through your eyes. You are never alone in this world. When you are born you have a positive brain and a free spirit/will, it is only the corrupting influences of society that will give you doubts.

At the end of your days god will judge you on the nature of your spirit. Are you truly a good positive person, only god as your witness will know.

We suffer and have misery at the hands of man, not God. The Scripture tells us lots more than what is taught in the churches.
First, why are we here? God's Word tells us that there was an entire age before this one we live in now - and that we were all very happy there. Then satan rebelled, and there was a great war. One-third of our people went onto satans side; then there was a great percentage that didn't really care - whoever won, they were gonna go with - and finally, there was a smaller group, who stuck on Gods side, never faltered, never doubted. These folks were already judged there, and called the elect of God.
That earth age was destroyed, and when you read in Genesis about Adam and Eve - that was NOT the first creation of earth;
it was the earth being refurbished after that great destruction -so that flesh life could inhabit it. It was decreed at that time that each soul would be born of flesh, through woman, to make a choice of whether to go with God or with satan - good or evil.
When each soul has come through, Christ will return.
The weeding-out will be complete. This is the free-will choice of all. God's plan wants it that way. Thats why you will never hear of me begging and pleading with people on this forum who write in and ridicule God, and say to believe is stupid, etc. Those folks have made up their minds, and I say: "hey, have a good one".
Maybe it would be a good idea for you, before making your decision, to find out what GOD has to say about it, instead of just listening to what man says about it. Get a good teacher, and learn what the Word really says - most of it is not ever taught in todays churches - I know that sounds unbelievable, but its really true. There is suffering and misery on the Earth because of Sin...Not God. God believes in Free Will. Which is why he doesnt stop people from hurting others. But he does answer prayers. Now if you pray to stamp out hunger he wont just have food fall from the sky. What he'll do is provide you with the resources to help those that are hungry. It's up to you to use those resources in the proper manner. Unfortunately many people prefer to splurge on luxuries that they dont need.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

a. He made all of the colors
b. He made all of the smells
c. He made all of the textures
d. He made all of the sounds
2. He is the most intelligent being in the universe
a. He made DNA
b. He made all of the elements
c. He gave creatures and all living things the ability to renew (multiply) themselves so He wouldn't have to keep creating the same types of things repeatedly
d. He made eyeballs and brains
3. He is the most loving being in the universe
a. He gave up His Son so sinful humans could have salvation
b. He readily forgives if we ask

There is a God, yes. The reason there is disagreement about who he is and what he is like is that everyone is on a journey--their own journey, no one else's--and each person finds his own truth about God. That doesn't mean others are wrong--all religions have some truth about God that meets their adherents where they are on their journey. You have to find God in your heart, not a "religion". He meets people where they are. The Bible says something to the effect that to the pure God will show himself pure, but to the froward He will show himself froward. I don't know if this makes any sense.I don't believe God causes all the misery in the world. A lot is caused by people who have freee will. But he helps us rise above our misery and circumstances. God bless you.

One man came to barber and while he was having the haircut they started discussion on G-d's existence. The barber said: "Look at all the misery and suffering in the world; it means that G-d doesn't exist if he allows bad things to happen." As the customer was leaving the barber shop he saw another man with very long hair that was passing by; so the customer turned to the barber and said: "Barbers don't exist." Barber exclaimed: "How can you say something like that?! I'm right here in front of you!" The customer responded: "If there were barbers in the world, man wouldn't walk around with such a long terribly looking hair." The barber said: "I would love to give him a haircut but it's not my fault that he doesn't want to come to me." So the customer responded: "So it's not G-d's fault that many people don't come to Him and don't seek Him."
When you want to have G-d in your life you look for Him, you always find Him. If you want to ignore His existence, no proof will ever convince you. And I guess since you're asking this question you haven't really had tough times in your life. But as they say: "There are no atheists in foxholes." When something bad happens (I don't wish anything bad to happen to you) and we have nobody to turn to, only then we turn to and look for G-d.
I wish you to find Him before that.

He most certainly is real.

Romans 1:20

From the creation of the world, God's invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly observed in what he made. As a result, people have no excuse.

I would counsel you to no longer ride the fence..seek him through prayer and his word...time is running out..possibly sooner than later.

ill be brief, otherwise id write a book here. to sum it up...
-there is a God, and there is lots of proof
-God does not cause the suffering in the world and hates seeing it
-God is very very soon going to destroy all wickedness and there will be no more suffering

any questions or want more details? email me, you'll never regret taking in knowledge. John 17:3 This means everlasting life(ya that means never dying, of course this would be in a perfect world not the way our world is today), their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.
