Unfortunately, there really aren't any symptoms that are specific for cancer because it is a very large group of diseases that may affect different parts of the body and grow at different rates. In general, the most common group of symptoms is things like fever that doesn't respond to antibiotics, night sweats, and unintentional weight loss without another obvious reason, but these things are also symptoms of many other diseases.

What disease does she have? That would help me provide more specific information.
I am currently a cancer patient. I can tell you that the symptoms can RANGE GREATLY. And some of those symptoms end up NOT being cancer at all, but some other type of ailment.
Possible symptoms include enlarged lymph nodes, night sweats, recurring migraines/headaches, shortness of breath, tight feeling at certain parts of the body, any sharp pains in the body can be a sign as well.
I hope your mom has a quick recovery from her disease.
I'll think good thoughts for you!
Best of luck!

Based on what my mom went though with her pancreatic cancer
- Weight loss, Extreme fatigue - the 20 minute ride from the hospital was sheer agony for her, Extreme pain - she was on constant morphine drip, No appetite, Constant upset stomach - she would vomit green bile all the time as the connection to her intestines was closed up, the million stints they tried to put in never stayed in place
Pancreatic Cancer is one of the worst forms of cancer, so hopefully your mom fares better - good luck , my prayers are with you and your mom

Tough question, symptoms range from aches and pains, to bruising, headaches, and much much more! It all depends on the type of cancer, location and of course your own body. If you're thinking you have cancer you should be checked out ASAP!!!! The longer you wait the less options you have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
